US Olympic mogul skier Hannah Kearney took home a gold medal yesterday at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, Canada.
The 23-year-old's achievement is the first gold for the US so far. Kearney hopes her performance is duplicated countless times during the next two weeks.
“I really want to be part of an Olympic montage and I think I’ve earned my right now,” she said. “If this can send a positive vibe and set a tone for the Americans, I’ll take it.”
